  This gem was re-cut by me as it had the typical window but lots of depth in the pavilion. So in all reality it should not have had a window but the cutter just missed critical angle. The gem was bought by me some 8+ years ago as it was a very unusual color and it had promise. It is a very lovely gem and I think it will have no problem fitting in a standard 4 prong 9mm mount as the depth is correct now and it is just a fine, brilliant, and unusual colored tourmaline. The color combination is quite lovely and it has life in any light source as it is not overly saturated. The chances of seeing another just like it is slim as it is the first one I have seen like it and I love tourmalines and have more tourmalines than any other mineral.\r\nNo treatment in any way. This gem has a ton of life and no one has ever asked to see it in 5 years???
