  This gem was cut by me from a parcel of untreated rough I got from Tanzania in 2009. With the surface texture there was no way I could tell what was what until I just cut the thing... It really is not that bad in person; but it does have silk issue and it may be a candidate for heating at a later point if no one likes it enough to buy it. Totally natural and it is not a dead gem. But for the price what do you expect ...LOL Sapphire is such a crap shoot anyway these days; I rarely buy the rough as it has issues most of the time and my main ones I like to cut are from rough I bought 15 plus years ago. but it is always fun to get in a parcel and see what you can do with it...
