  This gem was cut by me from an alluvial piece of tourmaline facet rough. It was shaped as an oval in the rough and had the pink dot in the middle; so it left little choices for the shape of the cut without a ton of loss. It has had no treatment in any way; it is lovely; has very good brilliance and takes on different colors in different lighting conditions; so it is a unique gem of very good size , clarity, and color.
