  This gem was cut by me from my facet rough I got back in the late 1990s. It is unusual and it was a 12.37 carat alluvial crystal that did not lend itself to be a emerald cut as most people like that when the gem is bi-colored. However i like the blends sometimes and to me this is one lovely and unusual colored gem. It looks like pink Champagne so that is what i will call the color. It is totally natural in every way; no heat, radiation, etc... I do not see material like this any longer and I would say it is not the norm for the tourmalines on the open market. I happen to love it... But I am prejudice... I am the one that cut it.
