  This gem was cut by me from rough that weighed 11.67 carats and was purchased by me in 1998. This is old stock. It is a rich green but not black and has wonderful fine green light return. I cut it in a calibrated cut for ease of finding a mount as it will fit a 11 x 9 mount. No treatment in any way. It will surely make a very classy and elegant ring or pendant. Pieces this size clean are almost impossible to find these days from Brazil..
