  This gem was cut by me from a 5.88 carat alluvial piece of rough. It is a very unusual color for tourmaline. It looks very similar both inside and outside. It is from the same region as many of the color shift gems but this one does not show that dramatic tendency. It has good light return and it is totally natural in every way; no heat, radiation, etc... Fully tested and many gems from this same large parcel has had gemological reports as they were in the 15+ finished carat range which warranted a report.
