  This gem was cut by me from a 5.17 carat shallow piece of unheated rough bought in 2000. It still has a very tiny micro open culet that will close when set. Rachelle's hand shot is more realistic than my hand shot. This gem is a pastel lavender but sometimes has a pink tone; nice unaltered gem that will make a lovely ring or pendant... For the price it will be hard to beat anywhere... plus calibrated for easy mounting which is always a plus !
