  This gem was cut by me from a 8.17 carat piece of alluvial rough from the Umba Valley in Tanzania in 2014. It is a very lovely gem and has a very definite glowing orange like a glowing ember. I got a large parcel of this rough back then and have cut only 3 and they all look very nice in the mounts people chose that bought them. No treatment in any way. R.I. 1.74
