  This gem was cut by me from a 7.83 carat piece of rough bought in 1999. It has a very slight window as this material is tricky and likes to go on the dark side.. It is a very vibrant gem but does not like brilliant cuts... It is cut in a standard size for easy mounting. I bought this material when the lovely orange was discovered and thought it would react like it's more orange cousin but it does not. No treatments and still will make a lovely gem. The pavilion is right at critical angle and does close up when set; not a huge window and you will not be able to read the newspaper through it; but I was experimenting on the cutting of this material as it is so lovely I had to figure out the right combination.
