  This gem was re-cut by me on the pavilion as it had a deep offset culet cut and threw the light off to one side, so I corrected it the best I could and now the light return is more centered in the gem. It is unheated material and a lovely light blue with lavender undertones. Faces up a very nice size and very good light return. It was 2.71 carats when I started but the pavilion was really too deep to set in a standard mount and offset, I bought it and 3 more in 2018 from my contact in Sri Lanka. Let me say this; it is getting harder to get stones out of many countries now with the tariff situation as too many uncertainties, but I think it will all settle down when the playing field equalizes? But for example 2 weeks ago he canceled a cut sapphire parcel to me because they did not know how to charge or if to charge ??? So buy when you can if the gem is what you want and at a reasonable price as who knows what will shake out from all this...
