  These gems were cut in Sri Lanka in 2001 from a large parcel of rough I bought from Tanzania in 2000. They are unheated. I have no idea why they cut them with a tiny open culet as there was enough depth but when you send your rough overseas they really cut them the way they want , at least that was the way back then. Still they truly match and they are not big open culets but the macro photos show you that, I think they will close up in a mount and they are truly matching to where they can be used as side stones in a ring mount. Never the less, old stock old prices. I was amazed at what I found in some of the old cut gems I had stashed back...
