  This gem was cut by me from a 7.07 carat crystal bought in the 2018 parcel from Nigeria. This is by far the most intense blue green emeralds I have cut from Nigeria. This parcel was far superior to the one I got in 2024. The clarity was very similar and very clean crystals but the 2018 parcel was twice as neon blue green. I hope to get some more but it seems I have to wait longer and longer to get anything decent. This is a very , very stunning gem emerald. If there is any oil it was on the crystal before i cut it. I cut the pavilion 1 degree above critical angle as all the crystals were shallow and I could not get but 2 brilliant cuts out of 13 crystals... In any case this will make a stunning ring or pendant worthy of any precious metal.. 1.58 RI and pink orange under the chelsea filter showing chromium.. Sorry for the out of focus hand shot...
