  This gem was re-cut by me from a 9.73 off cut gem bought in a large parcel from Tanzania in 2024. The material is huge for this gem mineral. The colors are very nice and very bright. The color is elegant and the clear type inclusion does not show up in real life but my true macro lens makes it look far worse than real life. I feel very lucky to have gotten this material when I did. It does show UV reactivity and under lw or sw light it will go red pink in color . I sent about 5 gems to lab to get a second opinion on my findings and I was correct. I do feel like this gem will only get more valuable as people find out about them and then of course the mine dries up; it has been this way for over 30 years and I know because I have seen it happen all the time. Enjoy this rare lovely large gem... RI is 1.735 but it has excellent light return and love these colors, no brown or muddy; crisp and lovely and if set in a ring you will catch some eyes...
