  This gem was re-cut by me from a badly windowed off center pavilion gem bought in 1999. The pavilion was a mess but the color is a striking amethyst purple. As you can see from the side photo the offset pavilion was a beast to tame into a brilliant cut. But it turn out nice and has good color and some life now with the brilliant pavilion. No treatments, Nice ring or pendant that the offset pavilion will not show when mounted..
