  This gem was cut by me from a terminated crystal from Russia I got back in 1996. I was at the right place at the right time with some cash in my pocket. I had the opportunity to buy from this one Russian individual for 2 years before he was sent back to Russia. I saw things I only wish I could have afforded at the time. But I love Beryl and that is what I concentrated on. I had a wild hair and cut 4 of my Russian crystals over the Christmas lull. This is the largest that I was willing to cut for now as I have about 4 more crystals in the Aquamarine family and two green heliores I have not decided what to do with yet... This is the finest color of the 4 gems and mainly due to the size as they do get richer in the larger sizes. I do not see this material on the market and have not for over 12 years... it is cut the way it is to save the weight and it does not have a window... The angles are correct 41 degree culet angles...
