  This gem was cut by me from a 13.89 carat piece of rough I got in 2016. It has been in the vault all that time with no moisture to make sure it would not craze. It did not nor did it change body color from clear to yellow. It is a very stable gem. I forgot how much I hate polishing opal on the facet machine. It has been a couple of years since I faceted an opal and it will be a few more before I do it again ! No treatment in any way. Nice size and good play of color.
